Job Description:
Yani is seeking a full-time cannabis packager to join our experienced team. The ideal candidate will have cannabis industry experience and possess the skills necessary to excel in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately package cannabis products according to company standards and regulations.
- Assist as needed in pre-roll production.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation protocols.
- Maintain an organized workspace.
- Assist in inventory management and quality control processes.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and adherence to schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the trimming and processing areas.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements set forth by the Maine Office of Cannabis Policy.
Requirements:
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Proven work experience with an understanding of production practices.
- Ability to work efficiently and think critically in a production setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in trimming quality.
- Willingness to perform various tasks beyond trimming, including packaging, harvesting, and cleaning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to pass a background check in accordance with Maine Office of Cannabis Policy.
- Must be able to work Monday - Friday day shift.
