Responsibilities and Duties:
- CNC Lathe Programmer Operator will produce quality machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating through part completion
- CNC Lathe Programmer Operator will write, store, and retrieve programs for machining parts
- CNC Lathe Programmer Operator will prioritize work orders for timely completion to accommodate customer needs
- CNC Lathe Programmer Operator will maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- CNC Lathe Programmer Operator Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements and troubleshoot malfunctions
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Run, set up, and program vertical & horizontals
- G code knowledge
- Skilled in programming and operating CNC Mazak Lathes.
- Mazak controls
- Nexus
- Write programs in Mazatrol controller and store programs.
- PC fusion 640m.
- Able to read blueprints.
- Strong math skills.
- Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints and/or specifications in order to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
- Can use inspection equipment such as micrometers, depth mic’s, O.D. mic’s, thread gauges and calipers.
