JOB TITLE: YBI ENGINE Program Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Sr. Director, ENGINE Tech Incubator
POSITION SUMMARY
The YBI ENGINE Program Coordinator supports marketing, branding, and client engagement for the ENGINE Tech Incubator in collaboration with the YBI marketing director. This role focuses on building ENGINE's visibility through social media management, content creation, and strategic communications while supporting portfolio companies and program operations. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in entrepreneurship and business development and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- Proficiency in Canva and similar design platforms
- Experience editing video content (including basic cuts, captions, and platform-ready formatting)
- Demonstrated experience managing and growing LinkedIn business pages, with a strong understanding of content performance and audience engagement.
- Strong interest in entrepreneurship and the startup ecosystem
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and project management skills
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Marketing, Branding & Social Media (Primary Focus)
- Manage YBI ENGINE’s LinkedIn and social media presence with daily engagement, content scheduling, and audience interaction
- Create and amplify content showcasing portfolio company founders, press coverage, and team updates
- Schedule and produce short-form video content for multi-channel use (primarily for LinkedIn)
- Design one-pagers, presentations, and graphics for ENGINE and portfolio companies
- Execute strategic marketing initiatives to increase program visibility
Client Engagement & Program Support
- Attend prospective client and portfolio company meetings
- Assist companies with special projects aligned with the coordinator's skills
- Participate in all internal ENGINE meetings
- Oversee market research platforms
- Provide administrative support as assigned
Events
- Assist with planning, marketing, and execution of YBI events
