Learning Specialist

Position Summary:

MTA is pleased to be expanding our learning center for the 2024-25 school year as part of our strategic growth. We are seeking an energetic, well rounded learning specialist to provide direct academic support for students in 9th - 11th grades, focused on our college preparatory curriculum.

Experience & Educational Background:

• Previous experience working with high school aged students
• relevant degrees preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• The qualified candidate will:
  • provide instruction in student skills such as time management, organization, and effective studying,
  • be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, and faculty,
  • be able to make use of appropriate technology and websites in order to preview and review material with students,
  • be well versed in strategies for developing student engagement and independence.

Salary Range:

• $60,000 - $75,000
