What will you be doing?
You’ll support the collation and coordination of the people pack and support any information using people systems.You’ll manage the people inbox and coordinate responses from relevant stakeholders.You’ll work with the Director of People & EDI and People Business Partners in specific project areas to provide data, presentations and any relevant coordination tasks that support the strategic aims.You’ll support as required the Shared Services Team where business critical deadlines require additional resource.You’ll understand the end-to-end employee journey and influence change through the team that will impact on the people strategy.You’ll develop and maintain processes and systems for all employee information, ensuring accurate handling and secure storage of all employee data in line with policy and legal requirements.You’ll undertake general administration duties including scanning, photocopying, archiving, handling incoming / outgoing people team post and managing people processing in a timely and efficient manner.You’ll support the maintenance and updating of the organisational structures, process maps, policies, the people intranet content and review to ensure all information provided for our internal customers is accurate and up to date.You’ll support the coordination of relevant people communication and the coordination of the monthly People Pack data.You’ll support the coordination and production of any reporting requirements, linked to People systems including MHR, Workbuzz, Perkbox, Croner etc.You’ll support the coordination of the bi-annual engagement survey supporting the distribution of data and collation of action plans.You’ll support the coordination of any people related awards, such as IIP or YHA awards.You’ll develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.You’ll attend the relevant People team meetings and provide managers with People updates, influencing decisions as appropriate and feeding back progress as required to team members.What Skills and Experience do you need?
Previous experience of working within a customer facing, support or administrative role requiring attention to detail and high-volume processing within a people or relevant function.Strong working knowledge and confident user of HRIS, or relevant systems. Experience of iTrent or similar system would be helpful but not essential.Strong organisational and prioritisation skills. Ability to work efficiently and accurately when processing large amounts of data. Confident communicator (both verbal and written) with a personable and professional manner and the ability to interact and relate to all levels of staff and build strong working relationships.Ability to demonstrate confidentiality and understanding when handling sensitive situations and information. Logical judgement and decision-making skills, demonstrating structured thought process.Good IT skills - proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages including e-mail, word processing and spreadsheet applications.For more information about the role and the skills and experience required, please refer to the job description.
