Marketing Coordinator

The YMCA is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to assist the Vice President of Marketing in implementing marketing strategies to recruit and retain members, program participants, and employees!

Marketing Coordinator: The YMCA is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to assist the Vice President of Marketing in implementing marketing strategies for our childcare, financial development, and human resources departments in an effort to drive awareness, participation, revenue, donations, and employment. The Marketing Coordinator will also be pivotal in helping the Vice President of Marketing lead storytelling efforts across the organization.

• Assists with developing, coordinating, and administering promotions, advertisements, and other marketing-related materials 1) to the community on behalf of the child care, financial development, and human resources departments; and 2) to the members, participants, and stakeholders in those departments on behalf of other YMCA departments
• Works with the marketing team to provide content for YMCA social media accounts and works closely with assigned departments to make sure that we are meeting their needs on organization-wide accounts and department-specific accounts
• Works closely with assigned departments to collect, create, and distribute stories across the organization in an effort to highlight the YMCA's mission and impact
• Assists with the development, maintenance, and execution of YMCA communication platforms, such as the website, mobile apps, social media, newsletters, and other messaging platforms
• Attends community events, and assists with the facilitation of partnership opportunities at such events for assigned departments
• Assists with the management of marketing budget GLs for assigned departments

Pay & Benefits:

• $19.65 (Pay is dependent on education and years of experience)

Qualifications:

• 2 year degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Writing, or a directly related field, or an equivalent combination of directly related experience, training and/or education

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Prefer a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field
• Strong graphic design skills required, including experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• Experience with basic video editing, website and social media management
