What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Exercise Instructor position at YMCA of Central Stark County?
In search of
Part-time Group Exercise Instructors who can teach various formats targeting adults at the Louisville Area YMCA
- Monday and/or Wednesday around 11am for a senior class
- Tuesday and/or Friday mornings for one of the following or similar: strength, HIIT, Forever Fit, Abs & Glutes
Starting rate
$11.00 - $16.00
Qualifications
- Dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- CPR and AED certification preferred, but will provide
- Certification from nationally-recognized fitness accreditation agency
- Able to teach multiple formats(gentle yoga, dance, etc) targeting older adults preferred
Responsibilities include but not limited to
- Meet and greet the members with enthusiasm
- Design class format appropriate for type of class and participants
- Serve as a good role model
- Communicate with team members
- Address difficult situations by using the YMCA Character Values as a guide
