What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wellness Attendant position at YMCA of Central Stark County?
In Search Of:
- An outgoing, motivated, part-time health and wellness professional dedicated to helping health seekers of all ages reach their total well-being goals using fun and engaging strategies.
Available Shifts:
- Weekdays after school, shifts between 3-9pm
- Saturday morning 7am-12pm
- Sunday 1-4pm
Starting Rate:
- $10.40/hr
Qualifications:
Candidate must be able to provide service to members in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes healthy member well-being and engagement
- Experience working with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions and perceptions.
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred but will provide training
- Knowledge in overall health and wellness related fields
- In understanding of exercise equipment and procedures while in use
Responsibilities:
- Provide upbeat and positive customer service to our members
- Maintain a clean and organized wellness center
- Help supervise youth during after school hours
- Strive to be self-motivated throughout the entirety of your shift
