We are seeking a caring, fun loving, energetic and creative individual who enjoys working with children to join our team as a Child Watch Lead. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who has experience supervising staff. We serve kids from 6wks - 13 years.
This is a Part-Time position with the ability to work 25-30 hours/week all year. Must have morning, evening and weekend availability.
We are currently seeking Leads to fill the following shifts:
- Monday - Friday: 8am-12pm
- Saturday: 8am-1pm and 5pm-10pm
- Sunday: 1pm-4pm
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- 12 months experience working with children preferred
- Ability to effectively supervise children and staff
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Communicate effectively with members, participants and other YMCA staff
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to exercise good judgment in decision-making processes
- Be friendly and courteous while working in a collaborative team environment
- Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal history, sex offender and reference checks
Pay Rate: $15.00 to $19.00/hour
