What are the responsibilities and job description for the Visual Arts Instructor position at YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties?
The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a Visual Arts Instructor to join our team.

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. As a Visual Arts Instructor you will be able to teach classes such as:
- Drawing
- Painting
- Preschool Arts
- Ceramics AND MORE!!
- You have 5 years of technical visual arts training.
- You have 1-2 years of experience in visual arts as a teacher and/or teaching assistant.
- You are able to instruct beginning and intermediate level art classes.
- You are excited to teach visual arts classes for ages preschool through adult.
Wage: 15.74- 16.74 an hour depending on experience
Hours: Part-Time, Up to 25 hours per week
