As an Inclusion Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the success of children in our School Age Programs. By implementing behavior and inclusion plans tailored to individual children, you will help ensure that every child can reach their full potential. Your daily responsibilities will include providing direct support for youth programming, monitoring behavior, documenting and communicating observations, and collaborating with team members. You will also model expectations, teach social and emotional skills, and support the implementation of social-emotional curricula. In this role, you will foster a positive and inclusive environment by incorporating appropriate modifications and accommodations and encouraging growth for both students and staff.

- Experience working with vulnerable populations and individuals with diverse abilities.
- A proven track record of implementing behavior plans in educational or recreational settings.
- An understanding of strategies and approaches to social-emotional learning and the ability to implement best practices with a flexible teaching style.
- The ability to identify and understand the causes and motivations behind child behavior and sound judgment when responding to unexpected situations.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must provide and maintain all documents and certifications as required by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care
- Must complete all training/certifications and program orientation under the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and the YMCA of the North Shore
