The PlaistowYMCA is seeking a self-motivated part time Pickleball Instructorwho is excited to grow and build a dynamic Pickleballprogram alongwith delivering classes, private lessons, and workshops to the community. You will teachpickleball classes, private lessons, and clinics for youth, teens, and adults. The instructor willsupportpickleball leagues, beresponsible for keeping attendance of all classes and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. You will also be responsible for greeting all patrons with a positive attitude and always representing the YMCA'sPickleball program in a professional manner.

Thorough knowledge of the game of pickleball

Excellent customer service skills, friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are critical. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.

Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds

Within 6 months of hire must completed one of the following certifications: International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) and/or Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR)
