What are the responsibilities and job description for the Learning Center Licensing and Compliance Coordinator position at YMCA of the Northern Sky?
Learning Centers Licensing and Compliance Coordinator:
This position ensures compliance with Minnesota and North Dakota licensing requirements by maintaining accurate records, submitting timely paperwork, and tracking staff trainings, certifications, and background checks. This role monitors children’s files and manages annual update forms. They will also oversee training records in state registries and internal portals.
- Maintain accurate records in both MN and ND licensing portals
- Ensure all licensing paperwork is completed fully, correctly and submitted on both state’s set timeline
- Track all Learning Center staff annual training hours, CPR/ First Aid certification and Background check expiration dates
- Monitor the expiration of required paperwork in children’s files at all sites
- Send out yearly update forms for all Learning Center children upon their anniversary date
- Work within the Growing Futures Childcare Training Registry to ensure YMCA company information is accurate and monitor staff’s training hours
- Set up and maintain schedule as listed with the state of Minnesota and Idemia for community fingerprinting
- Meet all Idemia related job functions as detailed in their contract
- Maintain staff in the training portal
1. At least 18 years old AND
2. High School Diploma or GED AND
3. 6 months of related experience
