Nasson Health Care is a Federally Qualified Health Center with clinical sites in Springvale and Biddeford, Maine. We serve York County and neighboring communities through provision of fully integrated medical, dental and behavioral health care.
Clinical Team Leader-Dental Assistant
52 weeks/year; 40 hours/week
The Clinical Team Leader works collaboratively with a team of health professionals to provide comprehensive primary care dental services while utilizing the Patient-Centered Medical Home model of care delivery. This position oversees the work of the dental assisting staff, serves as liaisons between the dental assistant staff and dental director and other health care divisions, and assures that key clinical support functions are being carried out.
The successful applicant must have a valid Maine radiographic certification. Preferred qualifications include a minimum of five years’ experience in a dental practice, completion of an accredited course in dental assisting and certified dental assistant standing. The applicant must be able to multitask, work some non-traditional hours and apply critical thinking when performing patient assessment and care as well as possess a high level of personal and professional integrity, quality standards and respect for the dignity of all patients and colleagues.
