Position Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
Department: Obstetrics
Reports to: Director, Obstetrics
Status: Regular Part Time (24 hours per week) or Full Time (36 hours per week)
Shift: Night

What You'll Do
- Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition including fetal monitoring and results of diagnostic studies.
- Responds quickly to changes in condition or response to treatment.
- Utilizes nursing knowledge in assessing and evaluating patient needs, planning and implementing nursing care, evaluating patient response and progress toward outcomes.
- Provides direct patient care and implements physician orders (administers medications, treatments, IV therapy; meets needs for hygiene, nutrition, positioning and activity; applies other interventions appropriate to patient and SO needs).
- Identifies FHR patterns and treats appropriately.
- Assesses neonate at delivery and performs neonatal resuscitation as needed.
- Documents assessments, evaluations, and interventions; provides other verbal, written and automated communication needed.
What You Need
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current RN license in the state of Nebraska is required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required
- CLC is preferred
- Good communication skills, flexibility, and a caring attitude
- Strong attention to detail
