Position Title: Med/Surg Ward Clerk - Regular Part Time (PT)

What You Will Do
- This position is responsible for clinical and receptionist functions in Nursing Services.
- Clerical functions include such things as processing of orders, organization and management of charting materials, maintenance of patient roster and census sheets, etc.
- Answering the telephone and nurse call system, greeting patients and visitors, and processing various communications are among the receptionist duties.
- Process orders and initiates communications of orders to ancillary departments via computer, telephone or fax.
- Patient record management; maintains supplies of charting materials, and disassembles dismissal charts, assists with placing documents on charts, printing forms, assists with photocopying and faxing when needed.
