What You Will Do

This position is responsible for providing non-professional care to the residents including but not limited to basic activities of daily living.

Responsible for the provision of medications, routine treatments, and for related work as required.
- Distribute meals and assist residents as needed. Provide and offer drinks and snacks. Clear and wash tables after meals.
- Provide care for and develop rapport with residents with genuine interest and a desire to attend to geriatric population by attending to personal care needs, assistance with dressing, showering and mobility according to Quarterly Service Plan.
- Prepare, provide and document prescription medications and treatments when assigned to do so by the nurse in charge of direction & monitoring. (This includes prn medications). Recognize and document changes in resident's condition (medical, mental, emotional, behavioral).
What You Need
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Must have successfully completed the 40-hour Medication Aide Course and certified as a Medication Aide
- This position also requires a BLS certification
