York CDJR of Plainfield has an immediate opening for a full time Lot Attendant to join our growing team. As a lot attendant, you’ll be responsible for ensuring every customer that chooses York CDJR of Plainfield receives a quality, clean vehicle upon delivery by managing incoming inventory. You’ll also be responsible for making sure all in-stock vehicles are organized and up to the standards we set to provide our customers for test drives.

Responsibilities:
The Lot Porter is responsible for preparing and maintaining vehicles for the lot for test drives and sales. Our staff delivers the highest quality service while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare new vehicles for lot
- Remove window writing, transport tape or plastic.
- Apply one (1) year Environmental Protection
- Fill out and install addendum showing adjusted MSRP with EP
- Add plate frame and silver tag
- Apply decals to all CTP units
- Prepare incoming pre-owned inventory for lot
- Inspect vehicles coming out of detail & re-clean as needed
- Ensure Environmental Protection applied
- Fill out addendum/hang tags for EP and Buyer’s Guide
- Touch up cleaning from test drives
- Maintain filled front line off road for dealership
- Take pictures for website and keep current
- Maintain fuel levels for test drives
- Keep vehicles clean as needed
- Dealership runs as needed
- Moving boxes/miscellaneous labor as needed
Qualifications:
- Must be reliable and able to work a flexible schedule depending on business needs
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company and customer vehicles
- Ability to stand for eight (8) to ten (10) hours per day
