Job Description
Summary:
Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a qualified ISRMAT Mission Manager to support the TRADOC G-2 Joint Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Directorate in coordinating, integrating, and de-conflicting TRADOC and Army ISR concepts and capabilities to include staff coordination with Joint Staffs, U. S. Strategic Command, other services, and U.S. national intelligence agencies. ISRMAT personnel provide advice and assistance on the Operational Environment to US/Coalition forces on the use of ISR at every echelon, the supported Combatant Command, and it’s CJFLCC. This currently includes Train Advise and Assist Commands (TAACs), Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force (CJSOTF), Special Operations Joint Task force – in the CENTCOM or other deployed theater of operations (SOJTF-A, SOJTF-I) focusing on improving staff communication, processes, refinement of planning and requirements, and increasing ISR effectiveness from all aspects of ISR integration for units assigned to the AOR.
Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Shall provide advising/coaching/mentoring to the tactical units identified by Headquarter staffs (COCOM, Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC), and tactical level) to improve overall ISR effectiveness.
- Shall provide assessments of ISR systems' effectiveness, as requested by Joint Headquarter staffs.
- Shall be able to train and advise senior leaders, to operate independently, and the ability to understand and advise and assist with ISR subjects ranging from detailed staff process and products, up to Theater level policy and procedures.
- Shall respond to additional CONUS/global training requirements as requested by the Director, TRADOC G-2 ISR Integration Directorate.
- Shall deploy forward on theater transportation, if available, throughout Combined Joint Operations Area (CJOA) directed by the Joint command or CJFLCC to provide requisite training and advice to CJOA based units.
- Shall provide ISR training and ISR Interoperability training to deployed U.S. forces as required.
- Shall provide in-theater training and advisory assistance to military units assigned to the CENTCOM area of responsibility, or other COCOMs as required.
- Shall be capable of assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of ISR Systems operating in Theaters of Operation which includes providing specific items of information that must be collected.
- Provide an AAR of meetings and events attended, and briefings given within five workdays of the event completion.
- Provide tactical trip reports within five days of each mission completion.
- Provide trip reports within five days of each CONUS trip/mission completion.
- Be familiar with and comply with all applicable orders, directives, and instructions issued by the respective Commanders relating to force protection and safety, provide first aid and request medical evacuation of injured persons, and remain available for U.S. or Coalition response forces, based upon the situation.
