What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Professional of Healing Arts position at Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.?
Status: Part-Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non- Exempt
Summary of Position: This position is responsible for implementing and coordinating behavioral health services throughout Harris County.
* Provide direct counseling to the individual and family.
* Ensure that all components of the treatment plan are being implemented and are clinically appropriate as determined by the diagnosis and assessment. Ensure that all services are provided in compliance with YAP Policies and State and Federal regulations.
Qualifications/Requirements: Master’s Degree in one of the following human services field required: psychology, criminal justice, sociology, social work, counseling/therapy, or behavioral health.
Active Professional Licensure in the practice of psychology, counseling, or social work required.
* Experience in the provision of home and/or community based mental health services.
* Foster Care experience is a plus.
* Play Therapy experience is a plus.
CPR/First Aid Certification. Behavior Management (MANDT) Certification is a plus
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
