What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Director position at Youth Consultation Service?
YCS employees are devoted professionals who have a passion for helping children, adolescents and adults.
Currently seeking a Program Director to assess treatment needs, coordinating treatment activities and input and or developing of treatment plans. The Director will mentor other staff members on the therapeutic approach and provide clinical supervision.
Fisher Hall is a group residence home for highrisk boys & girls ages 5 -13 with challenges and mental health disorders.
The ideal candidate:
Leads the interdisciplinary team; assessing treatment needs; coordinating treatment activities and input and or developing of treatment plans.
Mentors other staff members on the therapeutic approach and provide clinical supervision
Ensure Clinical Supervision is provided to all clinical staff, if program has clinical staff
Make recommendation in hiring, disciplinary action, promotion, and termination
Develop yearly program goals and objectives geared at program enhancements.
Provides supervision and consultation to both licensed and certified social workers or registered nurse (supervision responsibilities are according to licensure).
Responsible for staff development by ensuring coordination and completion of providing in-service training, training required by licensing agency and Core Competency training.
The employee will cooperate with the licensee and the applicable State department or division licensing unit with any legally mandated inspections or investigations.
Requirements:
Master's Degree Or 3 years post Master's experience working with youth with emotional and behavioral challenges
Minimum of one of the three years' experience must be in a supervisory capacity.
Must have a LCSW or LSW. Schedule: Full-time, Monday thru Friday, Hours may vary Schedule may vary and will include evenings and nights as needed On-call and emergency coverage, as needed
