HSE/High School Diploma plus five (5) years of progressively responsible office experience.

Must have clerical experience in general administrative functions such as delegating, maintaining records, ordering and acquisitions, correspondence and reports, etc.
Will perform technical routines in accordance with prescribed and established procedures.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT: Under the supervision of the Vice President. Performs administrative detail pertaining to the operation of the division assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
HSE/High School Diploma plus five (5) years of progressively responsible office experience.

Must have clerical experience in general administrative functions such as delegating, maintaining records, ordering and acquisitions, correspondence and reports, etc.
Must type 50 WPM. General knowledge of office practices and business arithmetic is required.
Must be able to operate all modern office machines including computers and desk calculators. Ability to follow and carryout written and oral instructions, quickly and accurately.
Ability to establish effective working relationships with the community.
Ability to exhibit emotional maturity and good judgment, to include high standards of morals and speech.
Must be able to use discretion in all facets of work-related situations.
Ability to perform all work rapidly and accurately, meeting all deadlines when applicable.
JOB CHARACTERISTICS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This is a professional position, which requires organizational, and communication skills, as well as judgment, tact and diplomacy in contacts with YDI employees, community residents, parents and local government agencies. Strict adherence is required to all regulations concerning confidentiality.
Background investigation to include fingerprinting will be required. TB Skin Test and Physical may be required intermittently.
Frequent travel is provided by employee and proof of satisfactory car insurance is required.
Youth Development, Inc. is an at-will employer. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Not Inclusive):
- Prepares various types of reports including demographic, outcome and narrative reports;
- Maintain client records and forms;
- Performs various computer operations for the division;
- Participates in all training activities as required;
- Participates in all team activities of the YDI office;
- Attend and record all staff meetings as required by Vice President;
- Completes all required documentation as required by the division;
- Write and type various correspondence;
- Create reporting forms and systems;
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and activities;
- Schedule and coordinate activities of the division;
- Create filing systems;
- Conduct research in preparation for writing grants;
- Assist with all aspects of writing, typing and preparing funding applications;
- OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
