YRCI does not enforce a vaccination requirement for our employees. - Classify positions; perform desk audits; and review duties and responsibilities of positions.
- Prepare new and revised Position Descriptions (PD), prepare detailed evaluation statements, and present any other advice and counsel related to this work.
- Conduct a detailed classification analysis of existing position descriptions to determine the appropriateness of the classification standard and prepare a written request to the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to modify or supplement an existing outdated classification standard.
- Facilitate focus groups discussions with supervisors, employees, and/or Subject Matter Experts (SME) to analyze classification standards and document the issue or impact the standard has on the operations and identify requested changes and the reasoning for the request.
- Based on knowledge of OPM rules and regulations governing federal practices and procedures, especially Classification Standards, shall be fully capable of performing the work specified in an efficient reliable and professional manner; accomplish assigned work within the time frame specified in the Request for Quote (RFQ) Instructions.
- Provide recent classification operational services since Hiring Reform 2010 that included communications support and advice, and development of initiatives.
- Complete work within established time-frames.
- Must have a minimum of six (6) years’ of hands on operational experience in Federal position classification and workforce analysis. Experience is defined as hands on operational experience in Federal position management and classification.
- Write and classify PD's for complex federal organizations; collaborate with Federal managers and executives to help them navigate the Federal classification process.
- Provide advisory services at a high organizational level with the Federal Government.
- Use a computer to access and retrieve data to include: Word, Excel, email applications, and Windows Operating Systems; manage accounts in varying types of email systems, use of shared drives, and search and retrieval of information via Internet.
- Work independently and effectively in a remote environment without face-to-face contact with customers, supervisor and peers.
- Must have effective communication skills (phone, email, etc.); exceptional writing skills; interact professionally with high ranking Executives and Senior Executive Service (SES) candidates.
- Obtain and maintain the government required background investigation.
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree.
