Summary:
The Business Development Analyst I supports the business operations of Yuma Regional Medical Center. The Business Development Analyst I serves as an internal consultant for planning and business development efforts utilizing multiple sources to assess market trends, analyze strategic implications, development of projection models and communicate key business drivers and trends, as well as recommend appropriate actions to maximize operational and financial performance.
Responsibilities:
Acts as an internal consultant to leaders to help identify and develop organizational objectives, strategic initiatives, and performance measures.
Collaborates with executive team, board of directors, department, and physician leaders to analyze hospital services and healthcare trends in order to develop short and long range opportunities.
Coordinates activities of data collection, analysis, interpretation, and presents findings to support and guide the organization's strategic initiatives and priorities.
Provides specialized analytical and project management support to executive and administrative leadership, staff, and physicians regarding service line development.
Provides various reports highlighting clinical, financial, and operational performance of hospital programs as well as identifying new market opportunities.
Collaborates with internal departments such as Nursing, Quality Management, Finance, and Decision Support in the development and implementation of business development initiatives.
Identifies organizational opportunities for profitable volume growth and prioritize service needs.
Other duties as assigned.
