What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at YWCA Wheeling?
We are looking for a thorough housekeeper with excellent cleanliness standards to attend all areas of our facilities. The goal is to enhance client experience by keeping our facilities in clean and orderly condition.
Responsibilities
- Provides a deep clean of areas as assigned/requested
- Clean and tidy all areas to the standard cleanliness within time limits
- Create daily job lists and record all serviced areas
- Maintain housekeeping equipment in good condition
- Report on any shortages, damages or safety issues
- Cleaning inventory control
- Use proper chemicals responsibly and do not bring any chemicals from home
- Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with organization’s policies and procedures
Skills
- Proven working experience in relevant field
- Ability to work independently and remain motivated
- Time management skills
- Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail
- High school degree or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
