Job Summary

Zachry Construction is looking for a Utility Laborer - Parts Runner with experience working in a construction environment. The Heavy Construction Equipment Utility Laborer - Parts Runner will assist with various task assignments throughout the San Antonio, TX equipment yard, including picking up parts and washing equipment.

Essential Functions

• Picking up parts from various vendors across the South Texas area
• Wash equipment
• Perform general maintenance
• Load and unload construction materials
• May operate hand and power tools of all types and a variety of other equipment and instruments
• May clean and prepare sites
• May assist other craft workers
• Follow all required safety rules, policies, and guidelines

Required Skills & Experience

• 2 years of roadway construction experience
• General construction labor skills
• Basic knowledge of operating hand and power tools of various types
• Experience operating other types of equipment and instruments is a plus
• Physical ability to perform assigned tasks (lift, push, and pull 50 pounds)
• Must meet MVR requirements and qualify as a driver
