Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, supporting general adminstrative task.
Phone etiquette, computer and customer support essential skills.
Duties
- Handle order expediting to meet the needs and requrements of our Clients and Designers with manufactures production time frame.
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries with professionalism, utilizing effective phone etiquette.
- Provide clerical support by organizing files, documents, and ensuring accuracy in all communications.
- Knowledge of freight coordination.
- Receiving and invoicing.
- Human resources and payroll helpful.
- Bookeeping knowledge and Credit card processing helpful.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and assist with ordering as necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in an office environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with phone systems and customer support roles is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Furniture industry experience helpul put not necessary
