Position Summary : Join our team as a Skilled Carpenter, where you’ll bring your craftsmanship to life by preparing, building, assembling, and inspecting high-quality interior and exterior doors, frames, millwork, and hardware.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities :
Craftsmanship & Assembly : Prepare, cut, grind, sand, and assemble doors, frames, and millwork to exact specifications using grinders, saws, drills, and other tools.
Blueprint Reading & Material Calculation : Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine dimensions, and calculate the size and quantity of materials for projects.
Customization & Quality Control : Assemble custom wooden frame doors, cabinets, and windows, and ensure all products meet our quality standards.
Customer Service & Delivery Prep : Load orders onto customer and company delivery vehicles, securely package products, and ensure accurate labeling for transport.
Safety & Maintenance : Operate and maintain equipment safely, keeping the workspace clean and organized. Report any safety concerns immediately.
Team Collaboration : Work alongside a dedicated team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications :
Experience : 2 years of carpentry experience preferred, with a solid understanding of woodworking tools and techniques.
Skills : Proficient in using both electrical and manual tools, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Team Player : Works well in a team, with the ability to communicate effectively and follow project specifications.
Preferred Certifications : Experience with hand trucks and forklifts is a plus.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions :
Mobility : Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Lifting Requirements : Frequently lift and move materials up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 80 lbs.
