Oaks of Rockford, a mobile home community, in Rockford, MI, is looking for a part-time Groundskeeper/Maintenance Tech. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of the community grounds.
This position may move to full-time in the spring.
Essential Job Duties
- Ensures the community is presentable, inviting, and adheres to the Oaks of Rockford's community appearance standards.
- Ensures common areas are cleaned and maintained.
- Performs daily sweeps of the community to ensure trash/debris is picked up. Empties trash receptacles as needed.
- Weeds and waters planting and shrub beds and newly planted areas, including grass.
- Assists Maintenance Technician with projects and other tasks.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong customer service skill.
- Ability to follow directions including safety protocols.
- Ability to deal with seasonal temperatures.
- Ability to walk, climb, stand, sit and lift up to 50 pounds.
