What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Auditor position at Zenith Logistics Inc?
We are located on the East side of Indy, near English Ave and Shadeland.
1st shift 6am to finish (could be 8 hours or 10-12 hours depending on orders for the day)
Must be available to work Saturday. You will have 2 days off during the week, Sunday and Monday.
Position Summary:
A Shipping & Receiving Auditor ensures the accurate and timely receipt, labeling, and shipment of product through the warehouse. Performs quality inspections and audits in accordance with quality assurance program guidelines to prevent or eliminate errors due to overages, shortages or non-compliant materials.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
- Auditing 3% of total cases for each scheduled day by both breakdown (1.5%) and weighted (1.5%) audits
- Input drops into WMS
- Consolidate bills and reconcile product
- Work up POS to be received on shift
- Input indirect time
- Answer phones and sign out paperwork for inbound/outbound drivers
- Print finished load sheets
- Maintain label printing devices
- Aid with Slot Exceptions
- Refill copiers/printers
Marginal Functions:
- Makes recommendations to stop shipment and storage of materials based on quality issues.
- Provides feedback to coworkers regarding Quality issues.
- Operates non-powered material handling equipment safely and efficiently as needed.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Performs cycle counts or verification of inventory quantities and locations.
- Assist the Warehouse team in daily tasks as needed.
Job Specifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Great attention to detail

- Demonstrated problem solving abilities
- Must be able to follow specific instructions thoroughly and accurately.
- Able to lift up to 65lbs safely as required.
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed due to customer requirements
