Zenlayer is looking for a part-time, remote FP&A Consultant. This person will provide on-demand analytical support to senior leadership, translating high-level questions into structured financial models and analyses. This is a flexible, high-leverage role focused on impact rather than daily routine. As such, the workload is intentionally variable and does not require full-time commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and iterate financial models, scenarios, and what-if analyses
- Support ad-hoc analyses for senior leadership
- Translate conceptual frameworks into Excel models and clear outputs
- Refine and document reusable templates and analytical tools
Ideal Qualifications:
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Comfortable working with ambiguous inputs and rapid iteration
- Self-directed and efficient with minimal supervision
- Prior experience in FP&A, strategy, consulting, or corporate finance
Key Details:
- Work is assigned on an as-needed basis
- Individual may be remote but working schedule will align with Pacific Time
- Expected work hours may vary, periods of lower activity are to be expected
This role is a contractor/consultant type role. The assignment will be open-ended and include no benefits.
