This is an extremely flexible music teaching position that connects you with students to travel to based on your availability, and as far as you're willing to travel. (Ideally within 10-20 miles)
We are seeking highly qualified individuals with an understanding of music theory who exemplify professionalism and transparency, with strong communication skills, a desire to grow in teaching skills, and a passion for seeing students grow in their understanding of music.
Most of our current instructors have waitlists of students needing a teacher. The bulk of our need is in piano & guitar instruction, but we have drum, vocal, and string leads, too!
Our aim is to be the trusted source for in-home music education in DFW.
Expectations
- Complete understanding and utilization of our Lesson Resources (provided by ZMC) to prepare appropriately for each lesson, prepare for recitals, etc.
- Passionate, attentive, constructive teaching
- Logging lessons by end of day via Student Portal (provided by ZMC)
- Communication/Transparency in all regards including but not limited to: communicating schedule changes, availability, and make-up lessons, asking questions when unsure of something, reaching out to parents if running late, etc.
- Recital prep & *paid* attendance in April (online), August (Lewisville), and December (online)
- *Paid* Monthly Instructor Meetings on ZOOM for company updates and instructor development (roughly 30min.)

- Background checks and Child Abuse Awareness & Prevention Training (provided and paid for by ZMC) required
