The Accounting Clerk is responsible for reviewing all vendor vouchers for appropriate purchase order, cost allocation, pricing, and approval prior to payment. This position also invoices clients, processes credit card and cash payments, assists with payroll preparation, ensures that all files are maintained electronically, that documentation is thorough and accurate, and assists with month-end closing.
Required Education and Experience:
- College-level degree is a related field of study is strongly recommended
- Professional experience dealing with financial and/or personnel information of a sensitive nature
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications including Teams, Sharepoint, and Planner
- Organization and attention to details
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
