What are the responsibilities and job description for the Zip Line Tour Guide position at Zip! at Haile Quarry?
Looking to be a paid adventurer?
We are a brand new zipline park currently opening in Newberry, Florida - and very close to opening day. We need a team of guides who are dedicated to our beautiful park - both for the sake of our guests' experience, and also because guides can make generous tips!
Experience is preferred, but all guides are subject to onboard training, so is not required. However, we may offer experienced guides a higher pay.
Pay will start at $14 - $16 tips
Minimum Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Candidates must be 18
Prior experience with outdoor recreation, athletics, educational roles, high ropes instructor experience, or ziplining is a plus.
Ability to effectively respond to questions from managers and guests.

All guides will be trained in CPR and first aid plus any other training deemed necessary by facility advisors.
As part of this training, and during employment the following skills will require focus, understanding, and proficient demonstration.
Duties
- Identify, manage, and actively mitigate risks to both guests and guides.
- Focus on professional, respectful, and engaging coaching techniques.
- Understand the forces, loads, and overall physics of a zipline course and its operations.
- Identify proper use and limitations of equipment, safety lines, rescue kits, and course components.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Incident Response tactics.

- Strong time management skills to keep tours on schedule
- Exceptional customer service skills to interact with visitors of diverse backgrounds
- Effective communication skills to convey information accurately and engagingly

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
