Position: Legal Intern

Zscaler is seeking an intellectually curious, proactive, and business-centric legal interns to join its growing Product and Privacy Legal team. This role will require a high degree of self-sufficiency, organizational skills, curiosity about emerging technologies, and collaborative approach to problem solving.
Possible Projects/Responsibilities:
- Support new product launches, regulatory and privacy assessments, adoption of novel technologies (e.g., generative AI), and other product-related initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (product management, privacy, security, cloud operations, and compliance) to address new and evolving privacy, security, and regulatory requirements in Zscaler’s products and services.
- Create and lead cross-functional training on product due diligence, generative AI best practices, data privacy, and other relevant topics.
- Stay abreast of developing trends in global data privacy and compliance laws and regulations.
- Identify, design, and implement processes that support and keep pace with product innovations while ensuring compliance and internal risk tolerance.
- Structure, draft, and negotiate technology, distribution, licensing, and other commercial agreements related to the introduction of new products and features.
- Manage and collaborate with outside counsel as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1L or 2L law student pursuing a JD in business or related field in progress
