Zudans Eye is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician. Professional customer service skills, team player and a friendly and enthusiastic attitude are required.
Other duties include:
- Working up patients in preparation for the doctor exam
- Learn and assist with clinical procedures
- Perform testing on patients with ophthalmology devices (photography, visual fields, biometry, etc.)
- Assists in notation with the doctor (scribe)
- Provides appropriate education to the patients
- EMR (Modernizing Medicine) experience preferred but not required
- Scrub Tech experience preferred by not required
Other:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- One year of medical terminology preferred
- Customer service one year preferred
- Proficient use of technology required
- Previous experience preferred
- Training on-site
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- 3-4 days per week
