Zumbro Valley Health Center is seeking a Full-time or Part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join the Outpatient Psychiatry team. As a Nurse Practitioner you will work within a multidisciplinary, collaborative care team to provide high quality, innovative care to achieve better outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management services.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat adults, adolescents and children experiencing symptoms of a behavioral health disorder.
- Prescribe psychotropic medications. Conduct regular assessments of therapeutic responses and side effects, and provide education to clients.
- Order, perform, and interpret lab tests and other diagnostic studies as indicated.
- Collaborate with internal and external treatment team members, the client, and natural supports to provide coordinated, high quality care.
- Maintain a client-centered, strengths-based approach when treating and/or consulting on a client case.
- Participate in psychiatric consultation with the psychiatric medical director as scheduled.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Masters Degree from an accredited School of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Strongly prefer PMHNP-BC
- Current, active, unrestricted Registered Nurse and APRN license in MN
- Valid DEA number and unrestricted DEA license
- Experience working with adults with a serious and persistent mental illness required.
