SUMMARY
Shares responsibility with all department team leaders for ensuring store data accuracy so our customers can enjoy a seamless shopping experience. Accuracy pertains to retail, costs, scale labels, shelf tags, weights and measures, promotional signage and front-end scans. Provides excellent customer service to associates and customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintain and audit accurate retail pricing and signage for all items in the store
- Be aware of new product and their placement
- Perform store level file maintenance as needed
- Communicate scanning discrepancies as required
- Verify daily receiving and send all daily receiving discrepancies to the home office
- Process a strong working knowledge of in-house computer systems (BR Data, etc.)
- Act as liaison between the main office and store personnel
- Perform regular store scan verification
- Install software and perform maintenance as directed by the main office
- Act as the first line of technical supports
- Follow through on all team member questions and requests
- Practice safe use of all tools and equipment
- Practice proper care and maintenance of all equipment
- Assist other departments when necessary to facilitate customer service
- Cross trained with Receiving department to provide support as needed and to maintain a working knowledge of this function
- When needed, assist with scheduled inventories
- Position is full-time

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Two year of grocery experience or equivalent work experience; prior POS experience desired.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations. Ability to effectively present information to and respond to questions from other managers, store managers, vendors & customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Strong basic math skills including the ability to add, multiply, divide, subtract and calculate percentages. Strong
knowledge of Microsoft Office application including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages and discounts.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems.
