American Express Claims Representative

Zurich North America is seeking a American Express Claims Representative to join our Group in North America.

With global service centers placed strategically around the globe, our 24/7 multilingual team is always just a phone call away and ready to assist when our customers experience travel issues – from lost luggage or minor travel inconveniences to medical emergencies or life-threatening events. We help customers recover from travel disruptions and enjoy their journeys knowing Travel Guard has their back every step of the way.

The Claims Call Center handles incoming calls from American Express Card Members needing to file an insurance claim. The team will provide prompt and professional service to fulfill the client’s request. This will include providing benefit and coverage information, setting up a new claim, and providing information on the status of an existing claim. These services are provided real time Monday through Friday from 7 am to 7 pm central time.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

Key qualities that we are seeking include:

• A record of providing outstanding customer service (1 years preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in gathering and entering information into a system
• Analytical skills in reviewing and interpreting policy coverage and claim status
• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize tasks
• Ability to respond to high end clientele with professionalism

• Full Time Monday through Friday
• 2nd shift, 11am-7pm
• Salary $18.00-$20.00/hr dependent upon experience
• Hybrid work model
