RESPONSIBILITIES
- The quality technician is responsible for following procedures to ensure accurate and safe Good Manufacturing Practices are being followed according to USDA and FDA regulations.
- The quality technician is also responsible for ensuring product quality standards are being met.
REQUIRMENTS
- This position requires attention to detail as well as organization skills as it involves a lot of paperwork.
- Responsible for finish product incubation and testing for product compliance in monthly audits.
- To notify management of any quality concerns throughout the plant.
- Ensuring all hold product is tagged with the appropriate information.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate ability to analyze and interpret information. Ability to add, subtract and average data.
- Perform inspections across all stages of production.
- Any other duties assigned.
- Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly.
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.'
