Activity Aide - Nursing Home Jobs

Assists with the planning and implementation of activities for nursing home residents. Helps design programs that encourage socialization, provide entertainment and fulfillment, and improve daily living skills. Assists in the creation and maintenance of the monthly activities calendar. May prepare reports on patients' progress. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
