The Home Care Pharmacist provides consultation and answers inquires from patients, families, physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding drugs and their use. Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and pharmaceutical supplies per physician's instructions for patients in a home care setting. Being a Home Care Pharmacist adheres to JCAHO standards for Home Care and complies with all regulatory guidelines and procedures.
