The Hospitalist/Internal Medicine manages patients through the continuum of hospital care, seeing patients in the ER and following them into the critical care unit and organizing post-acute care. Examines, diagnoses, and treats hospitalized patients. Being a Hospitalist/Internal Medicine requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school and is licensed to practice.
