What does an Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor Do?
Supervises interior fabrication of aircraft including mechanics, the fitting of sub-assemblies to the aircraft, and final aircraft interior production. Ensures compliance with all engineering, FAA, and customer regulations and specifications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments .... Typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
