The Medical Laboratory Technologist prepares specimens for microscope examination. Performs manual and automated routine medical lab tests such as urinalyses and blood counts. Being a Medical Laboratory Technologist conducts only waived and moderate level testing as classified by CLIA. Operates laboratory equipment including centrifuges, dry bath incubators, and blood bank refrigerators.
