Ophthalmic Technician Jobs

Provides technical services to assigned ophthalmic patients and assists ophthalmologists or optometrists in the examination and treatment of eye disorders. Takes patient history, conducts visual acuity screenings, and performs various technical procedures, including refractometry, tonometry, lensometry, and keratometry. Prepares patients for exams and procedures. Operates, maintains, and sanitizes ophthalmic equipment and instruments. May assist physicians in performing minor surgical and laser procedures.
