In 1976, parents whose children were diagnosed with autism faced their childs future with confusion and anxiety, believing their childs potential might never be realized. In that climate, two special education professionals and pioneers in this field, Susan Buckler and Jamey Wolff, created the Childrens Annex with just two students in a church basement in Woodstock, New York. Decades later, Center for Spectrum Services is considered a model school and is highly regarded for fostering the potential of each child by using research-based educational practices. Our professional staff provides programs at home, in community settings, and in our Kingston and Ellenville schools.
