Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The responsibilities and duties for this Provider Relations Specialist, but are not limited to, the following items:

· Collaborates extensively with physicians, nursing/office staff and clients to obtain/request necessary client medical record documentation (prescriptions) as needed to ensure compliance and/or to support billing in accordance with requirements.

· Develop contacts with each provider’s office. Engage providers to ensure they are appropriately informed and updated on products, service offerings and the latest technology available to them. Forward letters of gratitude to build and maintain positive relationships with military bases, as well as targeted referral sources.

· Facilitates educational in-services to referral sources regarding new products and services that 1 Natural Way can provide for their patients and to their practice.

· Serve as an expert regarding 1 Natural Way products and services by being fully educated in each area of business.

· Resolve problems, facilitate solutions, and enhance the referral/customer experience. Ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer and referral source satisfaction is maintained.

· Maintain the “Referral Management System” to ensure that all provider’s information is complete and accurate.

· Prepares, generates, and distributes reports to appropriate personnel if needed.

· Attend weekly team meetings to share/discuss feedback from referral sources. Collaborate and share best practices with other areas of the company to help improve processes to ultimately improve the customer and referral source experience.

Specifications Required

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service/sales role

· Goal Oriented

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Experience building relationships with customers

· Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

· College degree

· Experience using a CRM System and various software applications

· Experience with medical insurance verifications
