PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Club 1981 Assistant Manager is responsible for maintaining exceptional member relations and club facilities by creating a quality environment through staffing, programming, service operations, and maintenance.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Manage day operations including ski storage, food and beverage service, mountain access, member relations, and maintain the club facilities including parking, club lounge, and ski lockers
Maintain constant communication with club members and provide the highest quality level of service. Demonstrate proactive member problem resolution with demonstrated urgency, respect and empathy toward all issues presented
Train, manage and develop club staff to provide luxury service levels. Adhere to company HR hiring and termination guidelines.
Develop and maintain training tools for club staff including Standard Operating Procedures and shift checklists
Develop and post in a timely manner the weekly schedules, ensuring that the coverage provided is in line with the budget and member forecasts.
Responsible for coaching and performance management of club staff including end of season review. Implement disciplinary actions and documentation if required.
Ensure proper inventory of all uniforms and operating supplies, order when necessary
Prepare an annual financial budget and achieve these goals throughout the year through proper forecasting, cost controls, labor management and revenue generating programs.
Design, coordinate and facilitate the Club’s social offerings including the calendar of member events and daily operations
Execute standard operating procedures for members, new member enrollment, and analyze member attrition resulting in improved retention ideas and modifications when necessary
Reports to the Club 1981 General Manager
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
5 years in private club management or related field in Food & Beverage
Food Handlers Certificate, TIPS Certificate, and CPR Certification is preferred
Computer literacy is required, including spreadsheet knowledge and use of various F&B Systems to include inventories as well as MS Office/Outlook
Must be willing to work holidays and weekends
Must be able to take initiative to solve problems, lead and motivate others to achieve expected outcomes, manage time effectively and work well under pressure
PAY RATE:
- Pay: $26.00 - 28.00, dependent on experience
