Under the supervisor of the Baird 5 Nurse Manager, s/he is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating Child Life programming for the hospitalized children that is designed to further the social, emotional and physical well-being of children within the hospital setting. In addition, s/he is also responsible for overseeing pediatric volunteers and for orienting hospital staff to the psychosocial and developmental needs of children and their families.
